Projet CNC makerslide laser, 40W

This projects aims to build a small 40W CNC laser using makerslide

I would like to build a small laser CNC device inspired by Buildlog.net, using famous makerslide and arduino.

This laser seems to be a derivate from http://www.shapeoko.com

There is a wide use for such a small device at the lab. We could use this laser for various puposes:

  • Cut small wood parts (robotics).
  • Engrave aluminium or even cut small parts (to be verified).
  • Engrave PCB.

If some members are interested, we can discuss building this Buildlog.net device shortly, with the help of the lab or by ourselves.
