|
I would like to build a small 40W laser CNC device inspired by Buildlog.net, using famous makerslide and arduino.

This laser seems to be a derivate from Shapeoko CNC.
There is a wide use for such a small laser at the lab:
- Cut small wood / plastic parts (robotics).
- Engrave aluminium or even cut small parts (to be verified).
- Engrave PCB.
The advantages of building this project is that it is relatively cheap, does not require too much space and can be built quickly, within 3 months.
If some members are interested, we can discuss building this Buildlog.net device shortly, with the help of the lab or by ourselves.
